Fit&Well fitness writer reports that NordicTrack Select-A-Weight adjustable dumbbells are nearly $80 off on Amazon during Prime Big Deal Day. After seven weeks of home training, the writer says they made regular workouts and increasing weights easier; those results are personal experience, not a product test or guarantee.
NordicTrack Select-A-Weight adjustable dumbbells are nearly $80 off on Amazon during Prime Big Deal Day, according to a Fit&Well report that describes one writer’s experience switching to home strength training. The writer says they used the set for seven weeks and found it easier to train regularly and increase the weight, though those observations reflect an individual account rather than independently verified product performance.
The Fit&Well writer said they had been strength training for more than five years, usually at a gym. After moving to a new city, they decided to work out at home and sought equipment that could provide a substantial lifting option without taking up too much space. They chose the NordicTrack Select-A-Weight adjustable dumbbells after researching possible purchases.
During seven weeks of using the set while training exclusively at home, the writer said they worked out more regularly and had been increasing the weights consistently. They described the adjustment lever as quick to use and reported no problems with the weights moving out of place. The writer also said the dumbbells felt secure in their workouts, but the report does not describe a formal safety evaluation.
The writer’s stated limitation was that the dumbbells felt a little wide for their hands. They said they had not lifted more than 30 pounds per dumbbell during the trial and expected the equipment to remain useful as they continued to increase resistance. The report does not provide a detailed product comparison, a full specification list, or an independent assessment of durability.
A Home Setup With Less Bulk
The sale may interest people weighing the cost and space demands of gym-based strength training against working out at home. Adjustable dumbbells combine multiple selectable loads in one set, and the writer’s account describes how that format fit a move toward home workouts. The reported discount is nearly $80, but the source does not give the exact sale price or explain how the discount compares with the product’s usual price over time.
The account also offers a practical, limited observation: convenience can affect how often one person trains. The writer attributed more regular workouts partly to the ease of exercising at home. That does not establish that the dumbbells will increase another buyer’s training frequency or strength. Needs can vary with lifting experience, available space, grip comfort, and the maximum resistance required.

From Gym Training to Home Lifting
The writer’s decision followed a recent move and a change in training location, rather than a stated plan to test the product for a publication review. They had more than five years of strength-training experience, then used the adjustable dumbbells for seven weeks while training at home. That timeline helps frame the claims: they report their own routine and progress, not results from a controlled trial.
The report connects the equipment to progressive overload, the practice of gradually increasing training demands over time. The writer said they were adding weight but had not gone above 30 pounds per dumbbell. The source does not establish the set’s full weight range or whether that range would suit people with different training goals.
“I’ve now been using the adjustable dumbbells for seven weeks, while exclusively strength training at home.”

Price, Fit and Weight Range
The source says the dumbbells are nearly $80 off, but it does not state the precise sale price, the offer’s end date, or whether the discount is available to every shopper. Prices and availability can change, so the current listing should be checked before purchase.
Other details remain unaddressed, including the set’s full weight range, long-term durability, and how the handles may feel for people with different hand sizes. The writer’s seven-week account does not establish long-term reliability or suitability for all users. The source also does not give independent strength measurements or compare this set with other adjustable dumbbells.
Check the Listing Before Buying
Readers considering the deal can check Amazon’s current listing for the price, availability and product specifications, since the source does not confirm how long the promotion lasts. They may also want to compare the available resistance and handle dimensions with their own training needs and space.
For training at home, the writer’s experience is one example rather than a recommendation for every buyer. People new to lifting or returning after an injury may want guidance from a qualified fitness professional, particularly when choosing loads or changing their routine. No further testing or follow-up results are included in the report.
